Edward and Agatha are a husband and wife team and visionaries behind Upward Hands Puppet Ministry. Their background and love for working with children as well as their varied experience in the creative arts, has laid the foundation for their passion for puppetry.

In addition to serving within their local church, Thomas Road Baptist Church, they also love to share the art of puppetry with others. Upward Hands Puppet Ministry’s ultimate desire is to teach others how to start their own puppet ministries with the goal of sharing the love of Christ here and abroad.

long range vision

The long range vision the Lord has placed on their hearts, is to create a permanent base for Upward Hands Puppet Ministry where they can expand various branches of the ministry. Including, but not limited to, an after school bible club, community performances to share the gospel message, and producing training videos, teaching all aspects of the art of puppetry. These training videos would be available on the website, free of cost. Lord willing, they also hope to provide puppet kits to purchase (for only the cost of materials) so other teams can build affordable puppets for their own local ministries and/or utilize on the mission field.
